I specialise in the research of Time Series Data Analysis, Recommender Systems, and Text Generation.

I received the BE degree from Heilongjiang University, Harbin, China, in 2012, and received the MS degree and PhD degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China, in 2015 and 2019. I am an Assistant Professor at Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China. I was a visiting scholar in the Institute for Medical Engineering & Science (IMES) at MIT under the supervision of Prof. Roger Mark from Jun. 2019 to Dec. 2019. I was a visiting scholar at SmileLab-Synergistic Media Learning Lab at Northeastern University under the supervision of Prof. Yun (Raymond) Fu, from Oct. 2017 to Oct. 2018. I was an intern of Social Computing Group at MSRA under the supervision of Dr. Ruihua Song, from Jan 2017 to July 2017. My research interests include time series data analysis, recommender systems, and text generation. I have published several research papers on journals such as IEEE TKDE, TMM, TNNLS, TBD, TSC, and conferences such as AAAI, CIKM, ICDM, IEEE BigMM, MMM. In addition, I service as a TPC member or a reviewer of IEEE TKDE, ACM TIST, IEEE TSC, WWW, AAAI, IJCAI, IEEE Access, IEEE ICME, VCIP, IEEE Multimedia, etc. I also served as a session chair of WWW2020.

Social User Understanding
Learning user preference, habits, sentiment, and social influence from social media big data for product recommendation.
POI Cluster and Recommendation
Learning attributes of POIs from user check-ins, comments, sentiment, and temporal information for POI Cluster and Recommendation.
Service Quality Evaluation
Learning user confidence with information entropy theory to filter out the untrustworthy users for Service Quality Evaluation.
Text Generation
Using CNN and RNN to generate poems for images, and generate recommendation reasons for music.
